Village Police Responsibility
1. He will guard and patrol the union in day and night.
2. Search and suppress all the matters related to the crime, and assist the police in arresting criminals.
3. The Chairman and the Union Parishad will assist in discharging their official duties.
4. If there is no other determination, please inform the officer-in-charge of the concerned thana about every situation in the area.
5. Notice the activities of the people of the bad character of the union and will occasionally inform the officer-in-charge of the police station. They will also inform the officer-in-charge of the police station about the presence of any suspicious person coming from the surrounding area.
6. The person who is hiding in the union, will report the information to the officer-in-charge of the police station, who does not have any public income, or who can not give satisfactory answers to his own identity.
7. The Officer-in-charge of the police station will inform about all the issues, which can create conflict, violent agitation and disturb the peace of the people.
8. Do the best to intervene to stop the offense described in the aforesaid paragraph or any crime that is acceptable in court.
9. Save the birth and death register and inform the union council about all the births and deaths of the area.
10. If any pestilence or infectious disease or insect attack occurs in a large number of humans or animals, then inform the union council immediately.
11. If there is any obstruction or damage to the straw, then immediately inform the union parishad.
12. Provide any local information for official purposes.
