Agricultural Call Center

Call Center is a means by which mediation between any of the service providers and its consumers is achieved. In order to spread the latest agronomic technology, services and information among the farmers and farmers of this country, under the supervision of the Agricultural Information Service under the Ministry of Agriculture, in June 2012, the country's first public call center has been launched as an experimental pilgrimage center of 'Krishi Call Center'. Founded in the Agri Call Center, Ranchi, headquarter of Agriculture Information Services in Dhaka.

 

Since June 2014, a 5-digit short code has officially started the program. The activities of the Center are being carried out with the help of International NGO Practical Action, Bangladesh. In the call center number 16123 of the Agent Call Center, the callers are receiving instant expert advice on any issue related to agriculture, fisheries and livestock, by calling 25 paisa per minute (excluding VAT and supplementary duty) from any mobile phone operator. Apart from Friday and other public holidays, this service is being provided from 16113 by presenting the call center number 9 to 5 pm. Which will further expand in the future.
